GrayKey Updates: More Expanded Android Capabilities
GrayKey, the popular digital forensics tool used by law enforcement agencies, has released new updates that add more support for Android devices. Here’s what you need to know:
Android Broad Consent
The latest release of Android Broad Consent includes an additional 475 models across at least 6 vendors: Google, Huawei, Motorola, Oneplus, Oppo, and Xiaomi. While this list may not be complete, users can connect all known passcode devices to determine whether or not they are supported for a full file system extraction in real-time.
As more telemetry on successes or failures is received by GrayKey, they will add them into the normal Android support matrix.
New Android Devices for Initial Access
GrayKey users can now access Samsung Galaxy A33 5G with their tool.
These updates show that GrayKey is continuing to expand its capabilities and support for various devices across different platforms. With these enhancements in place, law enforcement agencies can continue to leverage this powerful tool in their investigations.
